Ronpak, a leading manufacturer of custom-printed paper bags and food wraps, announced on May 7th, 2012, it would relocate its corporate headquarters from South Plainfield, New Jersey to Shreveport-Bossier, Louisiana.

The headquarters relocation means another 100 new jobs in addition to the 175 jobs created when the company announced it would build a new 155,000-square-foot manufacturing facility at the Caddo-Bossier Port, last July.

By 2018, Ronpak will employ 275 people in Shreveport with an average annual salary of more than $40,500, plus benefits. According to Louisiana Economic Development (LED), those direct jobs also will result in 783 new indirect jobs, leading to a total of more than 1,000 new jobs for North Louisiana.
