Owned by the City of Ruston, this Industrial Park offers 150 acres of development ready sites close to Interstate 20 and adjacent to rail. The Ruston Industrial Park is currently undergoing the certification process under the Louisiana Economic Development Certified Site Program. Louisiana Economic Development and a third party engineering firm will review the site for compliance on such criteria as zoning restrictions, title work, environmental studies, soil analysis surveys and more. A Phase I environmental assessment, geotechnical survey, cultural resources survey, and wetland's delineation will be conducted to ensure that companies can fast-track their projects on this site. 

The City of Ruston is very interested in adding a rail spur to the Industrial Park site and has discussed this opportunity with Kansas City Southern Railway. KCS provided this downloadable Proposed Siding document as a result of the City’s expressed interest in adding the rail spur. The projected cost is $2 million.
